ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the effect of job design and work environment on employee performance with job satisfaction as a variable that intervenes in Asana Grove Hotel Yogyakarta. The method of using data using a questionnaire. Population of 45 employees, with a sample as much 45. The analytical method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the SmartPLS v.3.0 tool. The results showed that first, design has a positive effect on employee performance. Second, the work environment has a positive effect on employee performance. Third, job design has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Fourth, the work environment has a positive effect on job satisfaction. Fifth, job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance. Sixth, job design has a positive effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. Seventh, the work environment has a positive effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. Research results can be used as a basis for improving and improving job design, work environment, job satisfaction, and employee performance.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh desain pekerjan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening pada Asana Grove Hotel Yogyakarta. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi 45 karyawan, dengan sampel sebanyak 45. Metode analisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan menggunakan alat SmartPLS v.3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, desain pekerjaan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kedua, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Ketiga, desain pekerjan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja. Keempat, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kelima, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Keenam, desain pekerjaan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja. Ketujuh, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja. Hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan dasar untuk meningkatkan dan memelihara desain pekerjaan, lingkungan kerja, kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja karyawan.
