Every tool or machine that rotates will produce vibrations, and these vibrations can potentially cause damage to machine components, one of which is damage that often occurs to bearings. Vibration analysis needs to be done in order to avoid more severe damage to machine components. This vibration analysis on the cylinder dryer drum bearing uses the fast fourier transform algorithm method. Known from the reliability section database, the bearing used is the SKF 23034 CC / W33 bearing on the tend side. After calculating the frequency of bearing damage, namely the Fundamental Train Frequency (FTF) obtained 0.449 orders, Ball Spin Frequency (BSF) is 4.785 orders, Ball Pass Frequency Outer (BPFO) is 11.690 orders, and Ball Pass Frequency Inner (BPFI) is 14.309 orders and vibration analysis using an accelerometer which is then converted to velocity, the outer race bearing is worn so that bearing replacement must be done immediately. Providing routine lubrication and sterile bearing installation is highly recommended to avoid other potential bearing damage.
